Yes, You Can Be A Violinist!

All you need is the right information.

From Simon Hewitt Jones, concert violinist & teacher:

I've lost count of the number of times I've heard people say 'I'd love to play the violin, but it's just too difficult'. Or 'I tried the violin for a bit, but it was so hard'.

How misguided!

The thing is, if you have the right guidance and the right information, learning to play the violin can be very straightforward indeed. It doesn't need to be difficult.

Sure, I didn't say easy. It takes time to master all the different techniques. But it's an incredibly enjoyable journey if you have a high quality roadmap of what you need to do to make it sound beautiful.

**

Most people think that the violin is hard because it's so counter-intuitive. It's not like the piano or the guitar, where you can just pick it up and start to play it - instead, you have to know how it responds. And yet...

Anyone can play the violin!

I know this to be true. Over several years of high-level performing and teaching, I've learnt that it's possible for anyone to achieve great results with the violin straight away, if they have the right information.

I run very successful Introductory Violin Workshops in the UK, and within three hours I can get people playing scales and pieces on the violin, even if they don't read music.

The way I do it is by explaining the principles that empower great violin playing. Apply these fundamental ideas, and even the simplest piece of music can sound fantastic.

Over the next 7 days, I'll help you get started

I have developed a completely free 7-day 'Quick Start' email course that will get you started on the right track. Please, please, please make sure you follow these principles, because if you do, you'll be building good habits from the moment you pick up the violin for the first time.

It's SO much easier to get things right at the start than to waste weeks later on trying to correct bad habits. So please sign up for this free course. You'll learn:

  • The 'Three Most Important Things'
  • The Secret to a Beautiful Sound
  • The 3 Essential Bow Techniques
  • How to Plan your Practice
  • ...and much more!
