Violin Lessons in London

Finding Violin Lessons in London is not an easy process, because there are many factors to consider. You need to make sure that the tuition you find is right for you!

How To Find Violin Lessons in London

We recommend that you consider the following factors when choosing a private violin teacher, or a violin course or workshop:

  • Location
  • Price
  • Experience of Teacher
  • Recommendations from Others

Violin Lessons LondonWe are dedicated to helping you find violin lessons in London that suit you perfectly. Our independent team of musicians, led by Simon and Drew, run the London Violin Studio research centre and Violin Workshops & Courses, but we also teach privately too. We have an extensive network through which we're connected to many of London's finest violin teachers, and can usually recommend someone who will be an ideal teacher for you, wherever you're based.

Violin Lessons: What To Look For

If you're an adult learner searching for violin lessons, you might prefer an introductory workshop with a group of likeminded people followed by either a course of private tuition or series group violin lessons. More advanced learners will generally benefit more from private lessons, but it also depends on how you like to learn.

If you're seeking violin lessons for your child, then it depends on their age... if they're very young, say between 4 and 7 years old, a short private lesson is a good way to begin. Older children up to mid teens might prefer to learn in slightly longer lessons or workshops. But the most important thing to consider is the needs and preferences of the individual learner.
