Using the free resources on this website, and the tuition programs of London Violin Studio, you'll learn not just the techniques of how to play the violin, but also the magic of how to become a truly inspirational musician and performer.

Do you dream of playing the Violin but don't know where to begin? Have you played for some time, but have reached a challenge you can't overcome? Are you already an experienced violinist, but want to improve further?

London Violin Studio courses and one to one tuition are specifically designed to give you the tools that you need in order to continually improve forever. Sure, we'll teach you all the technique you need to know! But what most music teachers fail to deliver is the mentorship you need to become your own best teacher. We do that.

Our 'Violin Fundamentals' Workshop and 'Learn Violin' Courses are run by conservatory-trained musicians who have years of practical experience as both performers and teachers, working successfully with students, orchestras, bands, ensembles, and artists all around the world. We only employ the most passionate, committed individuals who are not only experienced teachers, but also professional performers. We don't just understand high-level music making theoretically... we're engaged with it every single day!

About Our Tuition Programs...

* Courses and Workshops are held in beautiful, centrally located studios, all within 10 minutes of the city centre
* Tuition available throughout the year - choose a time or date to suit you!
* Parents and children can learn together at reduced rates
* Regular private tuition is also available in your home (London), or online via broadband internet (Skype). Or we can help you find a regular teacher in your home area
* International visitors welcome! We can coordinate your tuition with your stay in the UK. We also run occasional seminars in the United States.

Who are our Students?

Music is the only true international language, so as you might expect, the diversity of our students is enormous. We teach any age at any level, though our clients commonly fall into three types:

* children learning violin (with or without parents)
* young professionals in their 20s or 30s who played as a child and want to start playing again
* adults of all ages (18-85 so far!) who love the violin, and want to start learning as beginner students

But of course, everyone's experience is different! Whoever you are, whatever your goal as a violinist, we can help you!

Scholarships for talented children -- for families with no ability to pay, we can occasionally offer one free place on our introductory seminar and level 1 course. Please click here for details.

Schools/Colleges: we can provide, under contract, outsourced lessons to educational institutions who do not have an established tuition program, as well as a wide selection of 'one-off visit' programmes featuring our seminar and workshops/courses. We are currently developing this option for a humanitarian-educational foundation providing tuition in the Middle East, and will be able to offer the service to other institutions from late 2010.
